About botox® OR DYSPORT® treatments:
With real, noticeable results, no surgery and no recovery time, Botox® or Dysport® are fast and easy treatments that can temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the brows, forehead and around the eyes.
Targeting the facial muscles that cause persistent lines to develop over time, Botox® or Dysport® treatments relax muscle contractions, thereby reducing lines.
One 10- to 15-minute treatment of tiny injections delivers lasting results for up to six months.
TREATMENT AREAS, TO NAME A FEW, INCLUDE:
Between the Brows (‘Frown’) (Glabellar)
Crows Feet (Eyes)
DAO (Corners of Mouth)
Massetter (Clenching muscles)
FROWN LINE FACTS:
Fact 1: Creams & lotions aren’t your only options.
When it comes to improving the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows, a prescription treatment may be the right choice for lasting results.
Fact 2: It’s not just an age thing.
Wrinkles and frown lines between the brows are caused by repeated movements and muscle contractions, which means they can even develop in younger adults.
Fact 3: You can fight frown lines.
Life happens – and so do wrinkles. Botox® or Dysport® treatments are here to help you soften existing lines, so you can live the look that’s expressly you.
Fact 4: Prevention is better than cure
It is good to start at a young age, before the static lines form
AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR Botox® or Dysport® Treatments?
You may be a good fit for Botox® or Dysport® treatments if you are unhappy with your facial appearance due to years of repetitive facial movements. Botox® or Dysport® are preferred options for patients with a broad range of wrinkles or skin issues in a specific area. Patients that have many fine lines throughout the forehead (glabellar lines) or around the nose and mouth will also benefit best from this procedure.
HOW LONG DOES A TYPICAL TREATMENT TAKE?
Upon receiving a Botox® or Dysport® treatment at your Ola Bella Medical Aesthetics and Beauty Clinique, we will begin by having your skin and/or specific problem area thoroughly examined by a Doctor. Following the application of a topical anesthetic (if requested), Botox® or Dysport® will be injected directly into your facial muscles in the areas where underlying problems occur. Each session of your treatment will take 10-20 minutes. Botox® or Dysport® treatments can also easily be scheduled during your lunch break or in between running errands.
IS A Botox® or Dysport® TREATMENT PAINFUL?
All Botox® or Dysport® treatments at Ola Bella Medical Aesthetics and Beauty Cliniques are performed by a Doctor. The treatment is largely painless. This is subject to the treated area as well as the patient’s sensitivity. An anesthetic cream or block can be applied prior to the procedure for sensitive patients which will reduce any sensitivity caused by the injections which are done with very fine needles. Botox® or Dysport® is injected into the skin by using a very thin needle to ensure patient comfort.
WHAT RESULTS may you EXPECT? *
Men and women love the near-instant results that come with Botox® or Dysport®. You can expect results to appear in 3-5 days and last between 3-6 months. For example, following your Botox® or Dysport® treatment in the ‘frown’ area, you will be physically unable to frown for the period of time the procedures last.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
Botox® or Dysport® doesn’t have any downtime involved, also making it ideal for the patient with a busy lifestyle. While the majority of side effects are mild and short-lived, you may experience slight redness, swelling, or tenderness up to several days post-treatment. Make-up can be applied just 24-hours after your Botox® or Dysport® procedure.

Do not have Botox® or Dysport® treatment if you:

Although FDA and CE approved, please read below disclaimer and important safety information as per supplier’s website:
Spread of Toxin Effects: In some cases, the effects of botulinum toxin products may affect areas of the body away from the injection site. Symptoms can happen hours to weeks after injection and may include swallowing and breathing problems, loss of strength and muscle weakness all over the body, double vision, blurred vision and drooping eyelids, hoarseness or change or loss of voice, trouble saying words clearly, or loss of bladder control. Swallowing and breathing problems can be life threatening and there have been reports of death. You are at the highest risk if these problems are pre‐existing before injection. There has not been a confirmed serious case of spread of toxin effect away from the injection site when BOTOX has been used at the recommended dose to treat chronic migraine, severe underarm sweating, blepharospasm, or strabismus, or when BOTOX Cosmetic has been used at the recommended dose to treat frown lines.
These effects could make it unsafe for you to drive a car, operate machinery, or do other dangerous activities.
Tell your doctor about any swallowing or breathing difficulties and all your muscle or nerve conditions such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis [ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease], myasthenia gravis, or Lambert‐Eaton syndrome, which may increase the risk of serious side effects including difficulty swallowing and difficulty breathing. Serious allergic reactions have occurred with the use of Dermal Fillers. Dry eyes have also been reported.
Tell your doctor about all of your medical conditions, including if you have surgical changes to your face, very weak muscles in the treatment area, any abnormal facial change, injection site inflammation, droopy eyelids or sagging eyelid folds, deep facial scars, thick oily skin, wrinkles that can’t be smoothed by spreading them apart, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or planning to become pregnant or breastfeed.
Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including prescription and nonprescription medicines, vitamins and herbal and other natural products. Using Botox®or Dysport® with certain other medicines may cause serious side effects. Do not start any new medicines while taking Dermal Fillers without talking to your doctor first.
Especially tell your doctor if you have received any other botulinum toxin product, such as Botox®, Dysport®, Myobloc® (rimabotulinumtoxinB) or Xeomin® (incobotulinumtoxinA), in the last four months or any in the past (be sure your doctor knows exactly which product you received, have recently received an antibiotic by injection, take muscle relaxants, take an allergy or cold medicine, or take a sleep medicine.
