ABOUT ULTRASOUND CAVITATION SLIMMING PROCEDURES:

An ultrasound device similar to that used in pregnancy scans is applied to the targeted area, along with a specially designed cream. This device transmits concentrated levels of ultrasonic energy that target and destroy subcutaneous fat cells in the fat cell membrane. The fat is then dispersed into surrounding cells and recycled into proteins and glycerol.

Put simply, ultrasonic cavitation is a weight-loss treatment that uses low-frequency sound waves to burst fat cells, which may result in lost centimetres on the treated areas and (ultimately) a slimmer figure. It's been growing in popularity over the last few years because while traditional liposuction requires surgery to remove fat, this procedure doesn't.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE FAT?

During the procedure, a technician will apply a hand tool that transmits low-level ultrasonic waves to your skin. The compression-expansion impulses create micro-bubbles that enlarge, collide, and implode, producing shock waves that “leak” the content of fat cells in a process called cavitation. The waste material is then processed through the liver and released from the body through sweat and digestive elimination ‘urine or feces’.

TREATMENT AREAS, TO NAME A FEW, INCLUDE:

A one-hour treatment can cover a medium-sized area of your body, such as:

  • the belly

  • ‘bra fat’

  • ‘love handles’

  • inner or outer thighs

  • legs

  • buttocks

  • back

  • arms.

ARE YOU A CANDIDATE FOR ULTRASOUND CAVITATION SLIMMING PROCEDURES?

If you are looking for results as effective as those you expect from liposuction or surgery, however, do not want to take any such excessive measures, our Ultrasound Cavitation Slimming procedure is the perfect fat reduction treatment for you. Unlike liposuction (which can be a daunting and extreme option for many), this procedure is safe, non-surgical, and requires no recovery time.

RECOMMENDED NUMBER OF SESSIONS

For optimal and lasting results, it is suggested that you complete the recommended number of sessions, being 10 per area in a 4-5 week period.

HOW LONG DOES A TYPICAL TREATMENT TAKE?

This procedure often takes less than an hour. The session usually feels like a massage with a handheld device, and you see a reduction of 1-4 cm's with every session in the treated area.

WHAT RESULTS MAY YOU EXPECT? *

The procedure shows you results immediately after the session. At Ola Bella, we measure you both before the session, and after the session. Most women may lose up to 1-4 centimetres in the targeted area after their session. Some results will be detectable immediately, however, peak results are usually seen within 72 hours of treatment. Results might depend on the condition of the removed fat, including the age of the fat and how dense the fat was.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?

No. It is safe, painless, non-surgical and requires no recovery time.

IS AN ULTRASOUND CAVITATION SLIMMING PROCEDURE PAINFUL?

Not at all. The session usually feels like a massage with a handheld device. But some patients might experience slight sensitivity and redness in the treated area for a few days after the procedure.

CAN EVERYONE GET ULTRASOUND CAVITATION FAT LOSS TREATMENTS?

Ideal candidates for treatment will be in generally good health but moderately overweight. Patients should not be pregnant or nursing, taking anticoagulants, or have a pacemaker or other metal implants. Other conditions which can be negatively affected by Ultrasonic Cavitation include recent surgeries, current infection or infectious disease, a compromised lymph system or immunodeficiencies, and severe health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer, epilepsy, high or low blood pressure, hemophilia or tuberculosis. If you’re not sure if you’re a good candidate for treatment, consult our Doctor first.
